About the event
Create a one of a kind custom glazed mug
This hands on pottery workshop focuses on decorative glazing techniques using a highly paintable glaze that allows for detailed work. You’ll learn how to use stencils, tape resist, and fine brush painting to create clean lines, patterns, and layered designs.
Each student will glaze a handmade Lark Design mug that I have personally made in my studio. Every mug is wheel-thrown and finished by hand, giving you a thoughtfully crafted piece to start from rather than a mass-produced blank. The forms are designed specifically for this workshop, with smooth surfaces that work well for detailed glazing, so you can focus on the creative process while working on a high-quality piece.
